It is important for there to be a case manager to guide families through the system when abuse or violence occurs. Ideally, there needs to be a case manager who can support the child or youth and family through the system from the beginning to the end of the process. In some cases, where a case manager does not exist, Boost may be able to perform this role. Where there is a case manager, Boost will work with this individual to coordinate services for the child or youth and family.
