Community events are a creative and wonderful way to raise money and community goodwill in support of Boost Child Abuse Prevention & Intervention.
You may wish to host a fundraising event. No event is considered too big or too small, from backyard barbeques to garage sales, golf tournaments to gala events. The following tools, templates and tips have been developed to assist you in determining what type of event you would like to host and to provide you with a toolkit on how to start organizing your event. Once you decide on the type of event, you will need to register your event by completing the Event Proposal Form. Once complete, please send the form to Boost for approval before proceeding with your event.
Your event may require that some expenses be paid in order to generate funds for Boost. We suggest that you carefully consider your payment options and complete all sections in the Event Proposal Form especially the Revenue and Expense section of the form.
You may decide to set up a charitable event bank account, which may be available to you at no cost. This will enable you to proceed.
Let us know how we can help you with your event. A community event is a fundraising event held by an individual, group or organization to support Boost.
Boost wants to help make your event a success and we have developed the Community Events Toolkit to assist you and your team in planning a fun, well-organized and successful fundraising event in support of our cause.
