Boost’s volunteers exemplify a special group of people. They are individuals representing our community and they all share in a common quest to reach out and help others. Volunteers of all ages play an integral role in our fundraising, awareness and service activities. Our volunteers contribute their unique skills, experience and compassion to help us. Our Volunteer Program recruits volunteers with the skills, experience, qualifications and interest to meet our needs and offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference.

Our volunteers are an integral part of the organization and they increase the human potential of the committees they serve, and in turn are provided with satisfying volunteer experiences that offer opportunities for personal growth. What is the commitment? 
You may wish to volunteer as often as you like.  We are flexible and will work with you to accomodate your schedule.

What are the requirements?
A personal interview to assess criteria and discuss schedule, assigned tasks, projects and availability. 

References and police check.
You can help with special events during our awareness campaign, the Go Purple for Prevention Campaign during the month of October. Several events are held to raise awareness and funds for Boost Child Abuse Prevention & Intervention. You can help by handing out promotional materials like buttons, brochures, bookmarks; distribute posters; campaign packages; participate in our special events during the campaign; or, organizer your own event to help us raise awareness and funds in your community.

You can lend your skills and experience to the planning and organizing of our annual major fundraising gala, The Butterfly Ball. We need leadership volunteers to help, especially in Ticket Sales and Corporate Sponsorships. We also need event day volunteers to assist in set up or clean; transport, load and unload items and materials for the event; you can help at the registration desk by meeting and greeting  guests and answering questions. We also need volunteers to assist during the live auction and more. How You Can Help

• We can use your administrative and computer skills to help us in the office especially when we are in the process of planning a major event.
• Join a committee and help with special or awareness events.
• The outcome of involving your family, friends and colleagues is phenomenal, not only are they raising funds to improve children's health and welfare, they are also building community spirit, morale and camaraderie by joining forces for a good cause.
• Create your own personal online fundraising campaign and invite your friends, family and all your contacts to participate! Create a customized, secure web page to collect donations in support of Boost Child Abuse Prevention & Intervention.
