Taking It Back

Taking It Back! is a Youth Advisory Committee at BOOST. It was initiated to give youth who have participated in our programs and services an opportunity to have a voice at BOOST. Over the coming year, this group will work together to identify activities for youth input and involvement.

The name Taking It Back! was chosen because the young women in the group feel that they are taking back the power that they lost when they experienced childhood abuse or assault. They describe themselves as “amazing survivors of abuse” who are coming together in a kind and caring environment to help others and to share their ideas.
